Get your dutch oven seasoned and ready. CASA is hosting a Dutch Oven Cook Off on April 9, 2022 at the Alma Farmers' Market in conjunction with Child Abuse Awareness Month.

About the Event
CASA of Crawford County is hosting it's annual Dutch Oven Lid Lifting Fundraiser in conjunction with Child Abuse Awareness Month. Cooks will check in at 10:00 and begin preparing their meals. Lids will be lifted at noon for tasters to come by and taste dishes and they will have the opportunity to vote on your dish.

Cooks can begin at 8:00 with the option of starting later if you dish does not take as long. All lids will be lifted at noon.
There is no cost to participate as a cooker. You will provide your own ingredients for your recipe and all food must be cooked on site. CASA will provide the charcoal and cook tables. We have dutch ovens availble free of charge to use if you do not have an oven.
